How do I create a new task?
Tap the 'Add Item' tab at the bottom of the screen. Enter your task name, choose the frequency (daily, weekly, or custom days), and tap 'Add Task'. Your new task will appear on the Dashboard.
How do I mark a task as complete?
On the Dashboard, simply tap the circle next to any task to mark it as complete. A checkmark will appear, and the task will show as completed for that day.
What is the 'reset time' and how does it work?
The reset time determines when your day 'ends' and tasks reset for the next day. By default, it's set to midnight (12:00 AM). If you're a night owl, you might set it to 3:00 AM so late-night task completions count toward the current day. You can change this in Settings.
How do I change my timezone?
Go to Settings and look for the Timezone section. You can either use your device's automatic timezone or manually select a specific timezone from the list.
How do weekly tasks work?
When creating a task, select 'Weekly' as the frequency. You can then choose which specific days of the week the task should appear (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The task will only show on your Dashboard on those selected days.
How do I edit or delete a task?
Go to the 'Manage' tab to see all your tasks. Tap on any task to edit its name, frequency, or schedule. To delete a task, tap the delete option within the task details.
How do notifications work?
Notifications are optional and disabled by default. When enabled in Settings, you can choose to receive reminders 1, 2, or 3 hours before your daily reset time. The notification will tell you how many tasks you still need to complete.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device using secure local storage. Nothing is ever uploaded to the cloud or any external servers. Your data stays private and only exists on your device.
Will I lose my data if I delete the app?
Yes. Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your tasks, settings, and history. There is no cloud backup because we prioritize your privacy.
Can I sync my data across multiple devices?
No. ScreenIV is designed as a privacy-first app with no cloud services. Your data exists only on the device where you created it. This ensures your personal habit data remains completely private.
How do I view my statistics and progress?
Tap the 'Stats' tab to see your progress analytics. You'll find visual charts showing your completion rates, historical data, and performance metrics for each task over time.
What does 'Delete All Tasks' do?
Found in Settings, this option removes all your tasks but keeps your app settings (timezone, reset time, notification preferences). Your completion history will also be cleared.
What does 'Reset App Data' do?
This option in Settings performs a complete reset—removing all tasks, settings, history, and returning the app to its initial state as if you just installed it. You'll see the onboarding flow again.

ScreenIV is available as a one-time purchase with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads. You pay once and own the app forever.
Does ScreenIV work offline?
Yes! Since all data is stored locally and there are no server connections, ScreenIV works perfectly offline. You don't need an internet connection to use any features.
